Returning to our families an hour later, I could tell by the smiles we got they knew exactly what we had been doing at the house. What could I say? She was irresistible. I was beyond happy. Not only had I gotten mind-blowing sex, but her promise to move in. It would only be a matter of time before I had my ring on her finger, and she was saying I do. I figured it was smarter to get her to move first, then hit her with the rest.

Khloe came running up to us when she saw us. I caught her up and swung her around, which made her laugh. She loved it when I did that. “Faster,” she shouted. I turned a few more times and then sat her down. She looked so funny, stumbling around like a drunk with a huge smile on her face.

“Enough before we fall in the pool and your mommy spanks us both,” I told her.

“Like you’d mind if I did,” Karizma whispered.

“Mil, you can spank me anytime you want. You don’t need to use Khloe as an excuse,” I told her with a wink. She let out a tiny laugh.

“Hey, no whispering. What has those smiles on your faces, well other than things not fit for little ears, that is?” Declan asked. The rest of the family had come over to us. I took Karizma’s hand and raised my eyebrows at her. I wanted to be sure she was ready to tell them. She nodded and mouthed yes.

“We’ve got some exciting news we want to share. We talked,” there were snickers when I said it. I gave them a warning look and then continued. “And we decided it’s silly for Karizma and Khloe to live in Jacksonville and me here. They’re either staying here with me, or I go to their apartment. It’s time to stop the back and forth. We love each other, and nothing is ever changing that, so she’s said yes to moving here to the compound.”

Khloe let out an excited squeal while my family all cheered and began to congratulate us. I noticed Carmen and Bax looked less than happy. Damn, maybe we should’ve told them first so they had a chance to get any concerns or objections out of the way. It wouldn’t change our minds, but they deserved to be heard.

“Does that mean I get my princess room?” Khloe asked, bouncing in my arms.

“Yes, it means you get your room. We’ll order all the stuff we looked at later.” She threw her arms around my neck and almost choked me as she kissed my cheek. This made the others laugh. I gave her a kiss on her cheek and then sat her down.

“Aingeal beag, Mommy and I need to talk to Gam-Gam and Bax. Why don’t you go play with Aintín Ais? You can tell her about the things you want in your new room.” I gave my sister an imploring look. She nodded and took Khloe’s hand.
